A Doyen Civic Solutions Platform

One trusted place to report what is happening in your community.

CommunityIQ is a multi-channel civic reporting and intelligence platform. Residents report issues like broken streetlights, flooding, drainage, and illegal dumping in seconds. The council, police, and regional corporation see them, route them, and act on them, with progress you can track.

Report by web now. WhatsApp and SMS coming soon. Anonymous, no login required.

Rooted In Tunapuna

Built for a real community, ready for Trinidad and Tobago.

CommunityIQ starts where people actually live and report, on the Eastern Main Road and the streets around it, and is built to extend to communities across the country.

The Problem

Community reports get lost between WhatsApp, phone calls, and the front desk.

A pothole gets mentioned in a group chat. A suspicious vehicle gets called in and forgotten. A blocked drain gets reported to the wrong office. Nothing is tracked, patterns stay invisible, and residents never hear what happened next.

CommunityIQ replaces that with a single trusted channel. Every report is captured once, routed to the right authority automatically, and followed through to a clear outcome.

  • One channel, not five. Crime, safety, infrastructure, flooding, and dumping, all reported in the same place.
  • Routed automatically. Each report reaches the council, the police, or the regional corporation, by category.
  • Tracked end to end. A tracking number lets the resident follow progress without chasing anyone.
  • Patterns become visible. Authorities see hotspots and repeat issues they could never see before.
How It Works

From a phone in hand to action on the ground.

Four simple steps. No app to install, no account required to report.

1

Report

By web now, with WhatsApp and SMS coming soon. Add a photo, drop a pin, or speak the details. Anonymous or identified, no login needed.

2

Route

CommunityIQ sends the report to the right authority by category: council, police, or regional corporation.

3

Act

The authority reviews it on a live dashboard, updates the status, and adds public updates the resident can see.

4

Track

The resident follows progress with a tracking number, from received, to in progress, to resolved.

Who It Serves

Built around every side of the community.

The same platform gives residents a voice and gives each authority the tools to respond, all kept properly separated.

More Than A Form

It is reporting plus intelligence.

The reporting side is only half of it. The intelligence side turns every report into a pattern authorities can act on.

Intelligence Map

See the hotspots, not just the incidents.

Reports plot onto a live map that shows where issues cluster and how they shift over time. Crime, flooding, and infrastructure each tell their own story.

  • Time dimension to compare week over week
  • Repeat-issue flags on chronic locations
  • Street and satellite views

Trust & Privacy

Built to be trusted with sensitive reports.

Community safety data deserves real protection. Privacy and security were designed in from the first line of code, not added later.

Anonymity by choice

Residents can report anonymously or identified. The choice is always theirs.

Private photo storage

Report photos sit in a private store, reached only through signed, expiring links.

Separated by role

Council, police, and corporation each see only what belongs to them. Isolation is enforced at the database.

Two-factor everywhere

Every authority account is protected by two-factor sign in.

Bot protection

Submissions are screened to keep spam and abuse out of the feed.

Monitored uptime

Continuous monitoring keeps the platform watched and dependable.

Tunapuna Pilot · Ready · Being Onboarded

Built first for Tunapuna.

CommunityIQ is being prepared for first deployment with the Tunapuna Station Community Council, developed in coordination with the council, with stakeholder engagement from the Tunapuna Police Station and the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation. It is the proof of concept the wider rollout is built on.

The platform is built and is being onboarded, with activation being finalized with stakeholders. It has been demonstrated to senior stakeholders across the council, the police service, and the regional corporation.

As the pilot matures, councils and regions interested in CommunityIQ for their own area can request information.
